Piltown vs Kilmacow

Kilmacow: 4 goals

On Friday last the u16 girls played Kilmacow away. The Piltown girls had a slow start, so the kilmacow side capitalised on it and took an early two goal lead. The girls played themselves back into the game and took control for the next 15 minutes with plenty of scoring opportunity in which time they tallied up 1-8. So at halftime we went in one point down.

The girls started the second half with much more intention and energy levels were high. They pushed on with scores from Katie Casey, Lily Walsh, Eabha O Halloran, Aoife Malone and Khora Power finishing up 9-13 to 4 goals.

It was a good start to the year for the u16 girls.
