Senior Camogie A.C.L - Semi Final Friday 19th July.
TULLAROAN 1 -10 PILTOWN 2 -15
We travelled north to Tullaroan to take on the home side in the All County League semi final on a beautiful sunny warm Sunday morning.
As with the previous meeting earlier in the competition, it promised to be a interesting game.
It took six minutes for the first scores on the board with Katie Power raising a white flag, Piltown were marginally on top, but as was shown in the previous game , Tullaroan had plenty of skill, determination and pace about them. Aoife Doyle, Kellyann Doyle and Grace Farrell also rose white flags to leave the score at half time.

Tullaroan came out and scored the first two points of the second half, to cut the lead to two points, and then a crucial moment after great work down the left wing, the ball broke to Sophie Holden pull the ball in the net in the 40th minute. The home side scored the next three points before Piltown got their second goal through Aoife Doyle to kill any momentume the home side were building, before Leah Cooney and Heather Phelan ended the game with two points.
Final Score : TULLAROAN 1 -10 PILTOWN 2 -15.
We will play Dicksboro in Palmerstown in the ACL Final on Friday 31st July.
