Our u14s welcomed Mullinavat to Piltown last  Wednesday evening in the first round of the roinn b league championship.

Piltown started the game well and got the first couple of scores on the board. With the solar eclipse coming soon after the start of the first half all the lads carried on playing despite the poor light while the eclipse was there.

Unfortunately Mullinavat got a few scores in the first half and were on top at the halftime whistle.

Our young men came out all guns firing in the second half and got 3 goals and a few more points but ultimately Mullinavat were the stronger team on the night and were the winners at the final whistle.
The lads learned a lot from the defeat and hopefully we can move on from this result and look forward to the second round on Monday against Glenmore in Piltown at 19:00.
