A huge well done to all the u8 boys who travelled up to Mullinavat today for the Mullinavat Festival of Hurling.
The weather certainly tested them, with some very heavy showers, but the boys never let the conditions get in the way. They were absolutely brilliant from start to finish.
They played three matches initially, winning two, which saw them progress to the next round. They then won their next two matches and earned themselves a place in the Cup Final! 🏆
Unfortunately, the final didn’t go our way, but every single one of the boys should be incredibly proud of themselves. They gave absolutely everything on that pitch, blood, sweat and tears! 💪
The teamwork, determination, grit, enthusiasm, motivation and effort they showed throughout the day was fantastic to see. It was brilliant to see all their skills on show, but most importantly, they played as a team and supported each other every step of the way.
Well done lads! 👏👏 You should all be so proud of yourselves. You represented the club brilliantly today and gave us plenty to be proud of.
And finally, a massive thank you to all the parents. 
It was a long day, and we really appreciate you bringing the boys to training week after week, getting them to matches and giving up your Sunday to bring them to Mullinavat.
Without your support, we simply wouldn’t have a team.
